The directors would like to invite PCLT members and the public to attend the AGM on Monday April 24th at 7pm a the Methodist/Wesley Hall Opposite the Post Office in Pewsey.
The latest news on the King Alfred's Court will be discussed as well as another project.

The directors and architects gave a presentation of the latest consultation outcomes and design thoughts on March 20th 2023. This was attended by 40 residents who were once again asked to comment on what they had been shown.

Pewsey Community Land Trust would like to thank all those who have participated in the public engagement events both in person at the two events held recently and online. We are pleased with over 150 responses so far. These responses will inform the more detailed plans now being drafted for the application by the architects at One Fifty Studio.
During December 2022, PCLT asked you through a Questionnaire posted online through our Facebook Group, Page and Pewsey Notice Board, for your initial thoughts and ambitions for the redevelopment of the former Police Station site in the middle of Pewsey.
The results of that survey are in and are illustrated below:-
During last November the Directors spent time researching and recruiting a firm of Architects to design the redevelopment at King Alfred’s Court to transform it from being a former Police Station and House into Pewsey’s first community owned affordable housing.
Community Energy Network Opportunity for Pewsey - we created a Facebook post to encourage Pewsey residents to give support and feedback on this idea.

For the first twelve months a Steering Group worked to establish the correct base to meet our goals, then the Trust was incorporated as a Community Benefit Society and became ready for the Membership to elect Directors at our first AGM held in February 2020. Further volunteer participants from the Membership were then able to form an Advisory Group to develop the policies and activities of the PCLT.
The Rural Housing Needs Survey was commissioned during December 2019 in conjunction with WCC, each Pewsey Household received a survey asking the householders a number of questions and asking for comments regarding housing needs within the Community. The results were published in April 2020 and identified the need for 26 dwellings at a low cost rental within the Parish of varying accommodation.
We have held three meetings in November 2018, January 2019 and May 2019 to determine the level of interest in a local CLT and to report back our findings, to those that have joined the PCLT.
