Pewsey CLT is pleased to announce that, after many months and much hard work, the drawings and all the associated CRtBO documents have been redrafted for a standard planning application for 8 Market Place. These were submitted to Wiltshire Council planning on  12th February 2024.  This was the only route left available to PCLT to move this project forward without further lengthy delays. Canvassers for all political parties have found the message on the doorsteps loud and clear:  there is a chronic shortage of homes to rent at prices that people can afford.  Not enough social rented houses are being built and housing association houses have the right to buy.

After several years and the last six months of detailed community engagement events and design work, proposals for the delivery of affordable rental housing on the site of the former police station in Pewsey are nearly complete.  We will be placing documentation for everyone to review and comment on in Pewsey Library during June/July 2023 and we hope that as many readers as possible will find the opportunity to read through and write comments.  All of the documents will also be available on this website where possible.

The directors would like to invite PCLT members and the public to attend the AGM on Monday April 24th at 7pm a the Methodist/Wesley Hall Opposite the Post Office in Pewsey.

The latest news on the King Alfred's Court will be discussed as well as another project.

The directors and architects gave a presentation of the latest consultation outcomes and design thoughts on March 20th 2023.  This was attended by 40 residents who were once again asked to comment on what they had been shown.

Pewsey Community Land Trust would like to thank all those who have participated in the public engagement events both in person at the two events held recently and online. We are pleased with over 150 responses so far. These responses will inform the more detailed plans now being drafted for the application by the architects at One Fifty Studio.
