The Pewsey Community Land Trust Directors and Advisory Group met earlier this month to review progress on our planning application and the next steps for the project.
The Pewsey Community Land Trust was created with a simple ambition: to help provide affordable housing for local people and invest in facilities that benefit the wider community.
The final updated scheme was submitted to Wiltshire Council ealier in the summer.
Your Support Can Make a Difference
Our planning application is now at an important stage and we are encouraging local residents, community groups and organisations to make their voices heard.
PCLT will undertake activities for the benefit of the Community and in particular (but without limitation), to provide, manage & maintain affordable homes and other community assets for the benefit of the population of the Civil Parish of Pewsey in Wiltshire.
For Pewsey to be a vibrant, sustainable village community where people can afford to live and work, where land and other assets are protected and profits are for the benefit of the local community, not the members.
The establishment of Pewsey CLT represents a unique chance for the Parish and residents to take back decision making and to shape the scope and nature of the Parish into the future.
